With Children of Grace child safety is paramount. Children are checked into the system and assigned a room based on either age or grade criteria. Once a room has reached its desired capacity it is closed and new children are placed in other predetermined overflow rooms.

When parents scan their family’s bar-coded key tag at a check in station, the computer displays all their children available for check-in. With a single keystroke the computer issues a name tag and adds the child to the current room count. At this time, the parents have the ability to check in for multiple services or activities. Staff also has the ability to assign small groups to children inside the rooms, based on age, sex and geographic region.

This feature maximizes security by requiring parents to scan their family key tag at a check out station.  The check out station then prints a receipt authorizingthem to pick up their child.
